Long-distance transport

Hundreds of miles are hard on a horse. We plan every interstate trip around the animal — not the clock — with water and rest stops, overnight layovers on longer routes, and updates sent to you along the way.

Highway curving through misty pine forest

On every long haul

Stops every 3–4 hrs

Water offered, hay checked, legs and attitude assessed.

Layovers

Trips over 14 hours include an overnight at a vetted layover barn.

Photo updates

A text and photo at each stop so you're never guessing.

Two-person crew

Long hauls run with two experienced handlers so someone is always fresh.

Paperwork for crossing state lines

Interstate travel generally requires a Certificate of Veterinary Inspection (health certificate) issued within 30 days and a negative Coggins test within 12 months. Some destination states add their own entry requirements. We'll tell you exactly what your destination needs when we quote, and we won't load a horse without the required documents.

Questions

Shared load or private?

Shared loads on our regular routes cost less. Private trips leave when you choose and go direct. We'll quote both so you can decide.

What should I send with my horse?

Paperwork, a halter and lead, and a small bag of their usual feed if they're on a special diet. We provide hay and water. Please skip blankets unless the weather calls for one.

What if something happens on the road?

We carry a first-aid kit, know the equine hospitals along our routes, and will call you immediately. Your emergency-vet authorization on the booking form lets us act fast if we can't reach you.
