Horsemen first.
Drivers second.
We're a family business from Marion Oaks, on the south side of Ocala. Every person who loads your horse has spent years handling horses on farms, at the track, or in the show barn.
How it started
Oswaldo "Ozzie" Ramírez came to Ocala in 2002 to work as a groom on a Thoroughbred farm off Highway 27. Over twenty years he hauled for trainers, breeders, and sale consignors — and kept hearing the same complaints about commercial shippers: horses arriving dehydrated, no updates, drivers who didn't know a halter from a lead shank.
In 2022, he and his sons Diego and Mateo bought their first gooseneck and started Ozzie and Sons Transport. Word of mouth did the rest. Today we run a small fleet of purpose-built horse vans and trailers out of our base in Marion Oaks.
